Comprehensive Credit Reporting

Comprehensive Credit Reporting

Comprehensive/positive credit reporting is Australia’s relatively new credit reporting system. In simple terms, it means that additional information is now being provided to Credit Reporting Bodies, including consumer credit liability data and repayment history information.

The data allows credit providers to gain a better understanding of your ability to repay credit, which has an impact on approval for loans and potentially the interest rate offered based on your risk profile.

These changes mean consumers have a greater ability to positively influence their credit score.

How to influence your credit score

What information is shared with credit reporting bodies?
